About Us

Canfield Vet, Dog & Cat Hospital in Pittsford, New York, was opened by Dr. Barry Brown, VMD in 1995, in the converted barn and former home to his family horses.

The established practice continues today, with three veterinarians in the fully equipped, primary care facility providing wellness care, as well as diagnosis and treatment for sick or injured dogs and cats.

Our compassionate vets and staff provide personal, professional, appropriate, and concerned veterinary care. We concentrate on health promotion and disease prevention in a welcoming atmosphere, comfortable for both you and your pet.

Canfield knows how important your pet is to you. Understanding that relationship, along with a love for dogs and cats, drives everyone who works here. We know you have choices when it comes to veterinary care, and we work very hard to earn your trust.

Our services include yearly wellness examinations and routine preventative care, vaccinations, surgery, digital radiology, dental cleanings, oral surgery, digital dental radiology, cold laser therapy, laboratory diagnostics, and an in-house pharmacy.
